Sunkala joined the Exchange and Empower program in May 2022. She comes from a small village called Sankhuwasabha in eastern Nepal. One of 8 siblings, her parents are subsistence farmers.
Prior to joining the team, Sunkala was in the first year of a bachelor’s degree in education. We hope that the program will give her the skills and training she needs to follow her passion, trail running, as well as further her studies!
